If your work fits in one of our open submission criteria, submit a docx file.

Be sure to follow these submission rules:

  • Must meet word count requirements for specified category. If it’s a bit under or over, no big deal, as long as the story is cleanly written and ready for publication. Consider finding a freelance editor before submitting.

    • Novella 17,000-40,000 words

    • Themed short 300-3000 words

  • Times New Roman size 12 font

  • .docx file is best

  • The work must be written by you, a human being, not a computer sucking the life out of real creatives.
